In the twelfth century construction began on St. Severin - St. Nichols in Paris. The last stone was finally cut and laid in place during the twentieth century. The stained glass windows captured on this card are the centerpiece of St. Severin - St. Nichols. Most were crafted during the 15th century. While it took eight hundred years to build, the construction carefully followed a design which had been drawn before the first spade of dirt was turned. So it is with our lives. Each of us walks a path that our Blessed Lord designed for us before we were yet born. |
