I took this picture with the thought of studying the contrast between the even shaping of the lighthouse and the irregular configuration of the tree. They are of equal height and strength but their design is very different. That is what I thought I would be showing. Instead, I have photographed a question and an answer. A lighthouse on such a beautiful day seems unnecessary. Why build it, let alone continue to maintain it? Because there will be rough weather and disastrous storms. One day there will be lives to save and the lighthouse will be needed. Not today but one day. Our life’s are like this. Why work at our Christian faith while all around us is fair and supportive? Is it because one day there will be a storm in our life or is it because our life, lived as a testament to the Lord will stand as a beacon to others lost in a sea of confusion and torment? In either case, Christ will be our lighthouse. |
